Gabrielle Malette, DDS

I love being able to help patients & meet so many wonderful people. I am definitely a “people-person”, which is another reason that I love the profession of dentistry

Dr. Gabrielle Malette, DDSI was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan but grew up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where I completed my undergraduate degree in kinesiology at the University of Windsor. I was a student-athlete at the University of Windsor, competing in both cross-country & track-&-field. Living in a border city, my family & I took full advantage of our proximity to the U.S., frequently making the quick trip across the bridge to enjoy concerts & sporting events in Detroit, & the beauty of Northern Michigan.

When I was eleven years old, a rare tooth decaying genetic defect resulted in the need for me to receive two root canals. While many children might have been frightened by the prospect of two root canal procedures, I was fascinated by the entire process & my passion for dentistry had been sparked. This ultimately led me to the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

My passion for the profession has only grown over time. I love being able to help patients & meet so many wonderful people. I am definitely a “people-person”, which is another reason that I love the profession of dentistry – it affords me the opportunity of interacting with & forming meaningful relationships with so many great people.

Outside of the office, you’d likely find me spending time with my family. My hobbies include cooking, running, playing soccer, swimming, & playing board games. Being Canadian, I must admit that I fit the stereotype of being a passionate hockey fan, proudly cheering on the Red Wings.
